What is hard surface Weed control?
We are fully licensed and trained to a high standard. We have experience in controlling all types of weeds on lots of different surfaces, including invasive species such as Japanese Knotweed and Himalayan Balsam. We are fully trained in the safe use of pesticides (NPTC) and are able to offer the best solution for your weed control needs.
All of our equipment is of professional standard and spraying records are recorded and available after all weed control visits.
The weed control we use for longer-lasting weed control is a broad-spectrum, non-selective weed control for pre and post-emergent control of a wide variety of weeds on surfaces that are not intended to bear vegetation. The treatment works by laying a residual barrier that will prevent any other weeds which try to grow.
The treatment controls a wide variety of weeds by interrupting seed germination.
This weed control Keeps areas clear of weeds for up to 3 months. We combine our longer-lasting weed control with our total weedkiller to control weeds that are present and prevent new weeds from emerging for longer periods.
**Algae, moss, and lichen are not susceptible to this type of weed control and will require additional chemicals and biocides to effectively treat at different times of the year, usually January/February is the best time to treat.
**Please note, our treatment can last up to 3 months. Heavy rainfall will negatively affect the length of time the treatment will work therefore the length of time the treatment works is out of our control if we do get prolonged periods of heavy rainfall.
We are qualified and trained to a high standard
NPTC (National Proficiency Tests Council) is a UK-based organization that offers a range of qualifications and training courses in the land-based and environmental sector. These include qualifications in subjects such as pesticide application. NPTC training courses are designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to work safely and effectively in their chosen field. To obtain an NPTC qualification, individuals must pass a practical assessment and a written exam.
