What is our Summer lawn treatment?

Our summer lawn treatment is made up of 2 -3mm granules that are evenly distributed over the lawn using our rotary lawn fertiliser spreader that accurately delivers the fertiliser in a uniform spray pattern. Our drought-safe summer fertiliser as the name suggests is safe to apply in periods of drought without any risk of scorching the lawn and ruining its apperance. This lawn treatment is formulated without any fast-release nitrogen, the nitrogen release pattern is evenly broken down over a 3-month period.

Also included in our summer lawn treatment is a selective herbicide spot weed treatment to get any remaining lawn weeds that have germinated.

In the summer, your lawn will require additional care to stay healthy and green during the hot weather. Some tasks you can do alongside our summer lawn treatment to maintain your lawn during the summer include watering regularly, and mowing at the correct height.

It's also a good idea to aerate your lawn in the summer when the conditions are right to improve soil drainage and allow water, air, and fertiliser nutrients to reach the roots of your grass.

Other tasks you can do to help prepare your lawn for the summer months include removing any dead leaves or debris.
